Can I change the complimentary item for something else of the same value?

We are unable to change your complimentary item. The special complimentary item for our Drive-Thru VIPs is a standard item. We surprise our Drive-Thru VIPs with new items every two months.

Can I change the complimentary item to a LTO? Can I pay for the difference?

Items are fully complimentary and cannot be used to offset the costs for other items.

Can I combine receipts of purchases that I made in the same day from the same Drive-Thru to meet the minimum $10 spend to receive a complimentary item?

Complimentary items are only available for a single receipt purchase of over $10.

Can I modify my order?

Once you have paid for the order, you cannot modify it. If you would like to order more, you can start a new order.

Can I order a McCafé® drink / Sandwich from the Drive-Thru?

Unfortunately, as our McCafé® drinks are specially handcrafted and overall require more time to prepare, they are not available for purchase via Drive-Thru. To prevent any hold up in the Drive-Thru queue, we encourage customers to park and purchase from our McCafé® counter instead.

Can I request for a different food item other than the complimentary item that I am entitled to? Would it be possible to collect it later?

We are unable to change your complimentary item, and the item is only valid at the point of purchase.

Can I save my card for future use?

Yes your card will be saved automatically for future use when you place your first order. If you want to add or remove a card you can do so by going to ‘My Account’ and clicking on ‘Manage Credit Cards’.

Can I use the deals or collect McCafé Rewards stamps with the Mobile Order?

Absolutely! To claim any offer, click on the ‘Deals’ tab, select the offer you would like to redeem and select ‘Add deal to mobile order’. You can only apply 1 deal for each order.

You can also collect McCafé Rewards stamps automatically within 24 hours with every order placed through the ‘Order & Collect’ as long as you purchased eligible McCafé drinks.

Can I walk or ride a bicycle to make a purchase through the Drive-Thru to get the monthly special?

The Drive-Thru is meant for motor vehicles and in the interest of safety, we do not recommend customers to walk or ride bicycles at the Drive-Thru area.

How do I become a Drive-Thru VIP / How do I obtain a Drive-Thru VIP decal?

Please approach any of our crew at the Drive-Thru booth to enquire about acquiring a Drive-Thru VIP decal.

How do I know if the Mobile Order feature is available in my area?

After you launch the app and select ‘Order’, simply tap to choose from the list of available restaurants. If you allow the app to use your current location, it will automatically select the nearest restaurant.

How do I know when my order is ready?

For counter takeaway, once your payment is completed, you can look out for your order number on the screen above the collection counter in the restaurant.

If you have chosen to receive your order at your table through ‘Dine-In’, our crew will bring the food to the table number you have entered on the app.

If you have chosen to pick up your food at the Drive Thru, read out your order number displayed on your order confirmation page to our crew at the speaker and we will start preparing your order immediately. Proceed to the payment booth to collect your receipt before collecting your meal.

How do I use My McDonald’s App to place an order?

Simple! Download My McDonald’s App and register an account. Find the nearest restaurant on the app. Browse through the menu and select the meal of your choice. Choose how you want to receive your order: Collect it at the Counter for Takeaway, Dine-In with Table Service or pick it up at the Drive Thru.

Please ensure that you are near the restaurant before you click on ‘Pay Now and Start My Order’. Products are only available during the respective menu period – we will not be able to serve breakfast menu after breakfast hours.

For Dine-In, please ensure you are seated at one of the tables and have entered the correct table number. After making payment for the order, we will immediately start preparing your order and bring your food to you once it’s ready.

If you have selected to pick up your meal at our Drive Thru, we will start preparing your order when you arrive at the Drive Thru and provide your order number at our Drive Thru Crew. You must pick up your order at the Drive Thru within an hour of payment.

How does Dine-In work?

You’ll have to be seated at a table before you place your order. Enter your table number and confirm your order. Food will then be prepared and our crew will deliver it to your table.

How does Drive Thru work?

Mobile Order via Drive Thru saves you time taken to order your meals! Simply place your order via Mobile Order, remember to add any deal you’re looking to redeem. Upon payment, an Order Code will be displayed in the app. Head on down to the Drive Thru within 60 minutes and read out your Order Code (e.g. #VU77) at the speaker.

Do note this does not guarantee that you have reserved the food.

If you placed the order during Breakfast Hours and only arrive after Breakfast Hours, we will not be able to serve you the Breakfast menu. We can help you place another order but you will need to reach out to “Contact Us” to have the previous order refunded.

I made a purchase amounting to $30 in a single receipt. Does that mean I am entitled to 3 Hash Browns / Apple Pies?

No. Only one complimentary item is valid for a single Drive-Thru purchase above $10, regardless of the final amount.

What are the payment options available?

We currently accept VISA / MasterCard debit/credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What are the upcoming monthly specials?

We surprise our Drive-Thru VIPs with new items every two months. We cannot confirm the items with you at this time but customers can expect to enjoy a complimentary Hash Brown during breakfast hours or a complimentary Apple Pie / 4pc Chicken McNuggets® / Hot Fudge Sundae during lunch and dinner hours. What benefits will I receive from putting up the Drive-Thru decal on my windscreen?

As a Drive-Thru VIP, you’ll receive a complimentary item every time you make a minimum purchase of $10 at our Drive-Thru.

What if I pay for my order but cannot pick it up immediately?

Your order will be prepared once you have made payment, so it’s recommended that you collect your order as soon as you can.

What is Mobile Ordering?

Mobile Ordering is a new feature on My McDonald’s App! Now you can order, pay, collect McCafé Rewards Card stamps and redeem deals all in a single app, just like you do when in our restaurants!

Pick a McDonald's deal, and them pick up your meal at participating McDonald's. Mobile Order and Pay lets you create your next McDonald's order in just a few taps and swipes. Enjoy your meal with Takeaway and Table Service options.

My McDonald’s App is available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store.

When will I be charged for the order? Do I get a receipt after confirming the payment?

Payment will be deducted from your credit card as soon as you click on ‘Pay now and start my order’. You will receive a payment notification on your email registered on My McDonald’s App. If you haven’t received an email please check your spam folder. Your final receipt will be given to you when you collect the order at the restaurant.

Why is the app showing me a pop up ‘It looks like you’re a little far away’?

It is recommended that you place your order when you are closer to your chosen restaurant so that you can receive your order right after it’s been prepared.

Will my status as a Drive-Thru VIP expire? How do I renew my VIP status?

The expiry date of the Drive-Thru VIP decal is indicated on the decal. Please approach any of our crew or manager at the Drive-Thru booth to enquire about receiving a new decal if yours has expired.
